Favourite Four Friday : 4 No Bake Homemade Dog Treats

Want a healthy snack for your dog but don't want to bake? Check these out!

No Bake Homemade Dog Treats

No Bake Dog TreatsOur Favourite 4 Friday last week covered the Best Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats. While they were great recipes we don’t always have the time to bake treats (or can be bothered to). So this week we decided to go down the easy route and pick our favourite four no bake homemade dog treats! Let us know if you try any and send us the results.

No Bake (Frozen) Peanut Butter Homemade Dog Treats

This is possibly the easiest dog treat you can make. It only has 4 ingredients all of which you are likely to have in the cupboards. All you need is yogurt, peanut butter, banana and honey. Bung them all in a blender and then pour into moulds and freeze. That is it!

No-Bake Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats

No Bake Homemade Dog Treat Pumpkin and Oats

This is another 4 ingredient recipe that is super simple. For those of you in the UK it uses pumpkin puree which may not be an ingredient you are all that familiar with. However a quick Google and you will find it is available at the big four, so no hunting for very odd ingredients! For those in the states, us Brits aren’t quiet so obsessed with the old pumpkin! You can keep these treats for up to a week and it makes 20.

Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Dog Treats

Homemade cinnamon dog treats just 4 ingredients

This great recipe takes just 15 minutes to complete and makes 10 scrummy dog treats. Technically there are 4 ingredients although I am not sure we should count water! Scroll down from this recipe on their site and you will also find another great no bake recipe that includes applesauce, yogurt and bacon!

The Don’t Even Bother Making – Dog Treat

apple as a dog treat

This is possibly the simplest of dog treats. If a bit of mixing is more than you fancy doing now, you can cheat! Apples make a great dog treat, although be careful of pips and the size in relation to your dog. It may be easier to cut it up and give it to your dog rather than whole. There are a number of other fruits and veg you can give your dog. Experiment and see what your pup loves!

If you’d like to get a snazzy silicon mold to make your treats look great you can get them here.
